I dreamt of something wildly sweet,
But it wasn't who I thought it would be.
There was laughter and smiles, giggles and hugs,
Though as soon as a kiss, I woke right up.
He wasn't short nor heavy set, medium height but muscular yet.
Short hair, jet black, dark eyes made me melt,
And the butterflies tickling, was all that I felt.
I sucked in air, and moved my hair from my way,
To see his face, but only say "hey."
So awkward, I felt, to hear him say one word,
Without smiles or laughs, not a glance or one third.
I felt so lost, and used, misguided,
From this angels face, who kept us divided.
